Kickbite UTM Guide — Non-Integrated Channels

Follow this rules for a great UTM structrure

You can track channels without a direct Kickbite integration by using clean UTM parameters. This ensures consistent attribution and accurate reporting.


Core Rules

  • Use utm_source , utm_medium and utm_campaign as main obligatory parameters

  • Format all values in kebab-case (lowercase, words separated by -) and ASCII only (letters a–z, numbers 0–9, hyphens only).

  • Dates: yyyymmdd

  • No spaces, emojis, or special characters.

Publisher and influencer names must be sanitized.

Influencers

utm_source=<platform>&utm_medium=influencer&utm_campaign=influencer-<angle>-<product|offer>-<yyyymm>

Affiliates

Track at publisher level. Include publisher name in campaign and store publisher ID in your Partner Registry.

Best Practices

  • Always sanitize UTM values: lowercase, kebab-case, ASCII only.

  • Use descriptive product/offer names.

  • Keep dates accurate to campaign launch.

  • Only include required UTMs for clean tracking.
