Overview of the Kickbite onboarding wizard — what to expect, the 6 steps, and how to navigate the process as a new client.

Welcome to Kickbite

Congratulations on starting your Kickbite onboarding! This guide walks you through the setup process so you can get your marketing attribution dashboard live as quickly as possible.

Kickbite is a marketing attribution platform for e-commerce. It collects your website tracking data, connects it with your backend order data and marketing platform spend data, then uses an AI model to attribute revenue to marketing channels. The result is a dashboard showing your true marketing ROI.


The Onboarding Wizard

When you log in, you'll see a guided onboarding wizard with 6 steps. Some steps are available immediately, while others unlock as you complete prerequisites.

A progress indicator shows your overall completion percentage, broken down by category (Project Owner, Tech, Marketing).


Who Does What?

You don't need to complete every step yourself. You can invite team members to help:

  • Project Owner / Marketing: Account Details, Channel Mix, Marketing Accounts

  • Developer / Tech: Connect Backend, Tracking Pixel, Tracking Templates

You can invite other users directly from the onboarding wizard. They'll receive an email invitation that's valid for 4 weeks.


What to Expect

  • Complete the tech steps (Backend + Tracking Pixel) first — these unlock the marketing steps

  • Your Kickbite Customer Success Manager will guide you through the kickoff meeting and channel definitions

  • After tracking is live, allow at least 2 weeks for meaningful data to appear in your dashboard

  • If you get stuck on any step, use the in-app chat to reach our support team
