How to use Kickbite in Claude and ChatGPT (the Kickbite connector)

Connect Kickbite to Claude or ChatGPT and ask about your marketing performance in plain language — plus set monthly targets with a safe preview-first workflow.

Written by Juan Garzon

Kickbite has a connector that brings your marketing data straight into AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT. Once connected, you can ask about your performance in plain language and get answers that match your Kickbite dashboards — and even set your monthly targets — without leaving the chat.

What you can do

The connector gives the assistant a set of read-only analytics tools plus a guarded target-planning tool. You can ask about:

  • Channels & campaigns — revenue, costs, ROAS, and orders by channel or campaign, with comparisons, filters, and top-N rankings.

  • Products — revenue, orders, and AOV by product, SKU, or variant.

  • Ad creatives — Meta / paid-social creative performance, including thumbnails.

  • Customer journeys — the top conversion paths, average touchpoints, and days to conversion.

  • Targets — read your annual plan, and set monthly targets (revenue, costs, AOV, CVR, % new orders).

Because the numbers come from the same APIs that power the Kickbite dashboards, they match the Kickbite UI.

How to connect

Claude (Desktop, web, or Cowork)

  1. Open Settings → Connectors (on Team/Enterprise plans, an organization Owner adds it under Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web).

  2. Add a custom connector with this URL: https://mcp.kickbite.io/mcp

  3. Leave the advanced/authentication fields empty — no API key, token, or headers are needed.

  4. Click Connect and sign in with your Kickbite email and password in the browser window that opens.

  5. Start a new chat and try one of the example prompts below.

ChatGPT

  1. Add a custom connector and enter the same URL: https://mcp.kickbite.io/mcp

  2. Choose OAuth as the authentication method.

  3. Sign in with your Kickbite credentials when prompted.

Signing in: the connector uses a secure browser login (OAuth). You sign in as yourself, the assistant never sees your password, and you only ever see the markets your Kickbite account has access to.

Example prompts

  • "List my available Kickbite markets."

  • "Show the top 5 channels by revenue in EU for last month."

  • "Top 10 campaigns by ROAS in EU for June, only campaigns with costs of at least 500."

  • "Which ad creatives had the best ROAS last month?"

  • "What do our customer journeys look like — top paths and average touchpoints?"

  • "Preview setting the EU revenue target for August to 500,000 — don't save it yet."

Setting targets safely

Target tools are the only ones that write anything, and they follow a strict two-step flow so nothing changes by accident:

  1. Preview first. The assistant shows a before → after preview and saves nothing.

  2. Confirm to save. Only after you explicitly approve does it write the change, then it reads the value back to confirm it saved correctly.

These tools only update your Kickbite monthly target plans. They do not touch ads, budgets, campaigns, customer data, or shop data.

Good to know

  • Numbers match your dashboard. Analytics are served by the same APIs as the Kickbite UI.

  • Analytics are read-only. Only the target tools can write, and only with your confirmation.

  • Dates & markets. Just ask in plain language ("EU", "last month") — the assistant resolves market names and dates for you.

  • Trouble connecting? Make sure you completed the browser sign-in. If the assistant says you're not connected, reconnect from your connector settings and sign in again.
